Why don't you ask for my password?
I use Google's official sign-in (OAuth 2.0), the same one behind every "Sign in with Google" button. Google verifies you directly; I never see your password.
Why the Manager invitation?
Google no longer allows posting or replying through API access alone. With the Manager role your profile shows up in my dashboard and I can work on it. I can't delete it or take ownership.
Is it safe?
Yes. Google grants a limited permission to your business profile. You can review or remove it anytime at myaccount.google.com and under People and access on your profile.
